Occupancy Sensors

Lutron's self-adjusting smart sensors help prevent false-on and false-off conditions, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of occupancy-based lighting control. New ceiling mount, wall mount and wall switch sensors feature infrared, ultrasonic and dual-technology detectors that automatically turn lights on when someone enters the room and off when they leave. Sensors can function as standalone controls using a Lutron plenum rated power pack; or they can integrate with a Lutron lighting control system without requiring additional power packs. When part of a Lutron system, sensors provide dimming capabilities as well. The smart sensors learn how a space is used and automatically self-adjust response time and increase/decrease sensitivity to motion based on that information for optimal performance. Lutron's sensors contribute toward meeting green codes and guidelines while creating a more effective and comfortable lighting environment.
