Vacancy Sensors
Watt Stopper/Legrand's new line of vacancy sensors is designed to save energy and comply with California's Title 24 2005 energy code for all residential uses. The vacancy sensors can replace any standard wall switch and use passive infrared (PIR) technology to detect occupancy. Similar to occupancy sensors, vacancy sensors can automatically turn the lights off when a room is vacant, conserving energy and reducing costs on homeowner's electricity bills. The vacancy sensor requires the user to turn lights on manually, but gives the option to turn off the lights manually or automatically following a predetermined time delay.
