EZ Box/EZ Trim Panelboard Enclosure
Eaton Corporation's lighting and appliance panelboard enclosures, the Eaton EZ box and EZ trim, address traditional panelboard problems such as safety, security, ease and speed of installation, and maintenance. EZ box flanges are bent and coated with a polyester-based paint that dulls the steel edges. Along with painting all galvanized panelboard chassis parts, these improvements eliminate sharp edges, making them safer and easier to handle. Tools are not required to install the EZ trim, helping shave installation time from minutes to seconds. Security is increased without any exposed hardware on the front panel of the unit, making it more difficult for the panelboard door to be forced open.
