The Appleton Groundskeeper line of steel outlet boxes save electricians the time and trouble previously associated with surface mounting an outlet box. Because the boxes feature a raised ground on the boss, rather than a flat tapped hole, the 3/8-inch ground screw can be threaded into the box without contacting the mounting surface. The outlet boxes are an ideal solution for surface mounting on concrete, wood or any other flat surface. They are available in several configurations of handy boxes, 4-inch square, and 4-11/16-inch square boxes, with or without welded brackets. All boxes have precision-sized centric or eccentric knockouts that pop out cleanly.
