UV-Cut Metal Halide lamp

EYE Lighting's new environmentally-friendly UV-Cut Metal Halide lamp family is available in 400, 1000 and 1500W sizes. Innovative UV-Block coating from Iwasaki Electric allows the lamps to block 90 percent of the UV output. CRI, Color Temperature and Lumen Output of the lamps remain unchanged from their standard equivalents. Significant features of UV-Cut Metal Halide lamps are the prevention of material fading, discoloration and deterioration. It also reduces damage (yellowing) of the polycarbonate fixture lens, maximizing light output and increasing fixture life. Insect attraction is reduced by 50 percent compared to standard Metal Halide.
