E-Lume-A-Path

Egress Marking Systems' E-Lume-A-Path Floor Proximity Path lighting system illuminates the path to safety from buildings utilizing FLATLITE electroluminescent lighting technology. It is the first active system listed to UL's 1994 Standard for Floor Proximity Path Marking with a single controller able to run up to 1500 linear feet of lighting with four hours of integral battery back-up. Unlike photoluminescent (glow in the dark) based systems, E-Lume-A-Path is activated by any supervisory system signal or power outage, has selective flashing modes and can be dimmed for convenience use such as aisle lighting in theaters. It does not need to be charged by external lighting sources and is hundreds of times brighter than photoluminscent systems available today. The system is easily installed in both retrofit applications and in new construction.
