Hydraulic/Magnetic circuit breakers

Circuit Breaker Industries' (CBI) Hydraulic/Magnetic circuit breakers are available with trip ratings down to 20mA, eliminating the need for most low amperage fuses. Unlike conventional thermal circuit breakers and fuses, the breakers do not rely on a change in temperature, caused by increased current flow, to activate the trip mechanism. Ambient temperature and sympathetic heat does not affect them. As a result, they can be used to protect lower amperage circuits. CBI breakers come in a variety of frame sizes and types with current ratings up to 100A. Short circuit interruption capacities range from 500A to 10,000A at voltages up to 240VAC / 125VDC.
