3455 High Voltage Insulation HiTester

Hioki Corporation recently developed and released the 3455 High Voltage Insulation HiTester. The tester is a rugged compact unit capable of measuring insulation resistance up to 5T Ohms. It calculates PI (Polarization Index), DAR (Dielectric Absorption Ratio), temperature measurement and leakage current, making it suitable for a variety of diagnostic applications. It tests voltages from 250V to 5kV and has a CAT III, 1000V and CAT IV, 600V rating. Measurement results are viewed on a large, easy-to-read backlit display. Up to 100 data points can be saved manually and up to 10 data points can be logged (logging frequency up to 360). The 3455 comes equipped with test leads, battery pack, USB cable for connecting to a PC, and AC Adapter.
