Wire Snagger

The Wire Snagger from RectorSeal is a wire-pulling tool that replaces conventional methods of attaching wire to a pulling rope. Safe to use and durable, the Wire Snagger sets up and disassembles in seconds, saving time and money, says the company. There is no waiting, and eliminates the need for taping, stripping, trimming or tying wires. The tool is available in six sizes for pulling wire from 1/0 to 750 MCM and 500 MCM 5kV. To pull wire, simply insert the wire into the tool to the bottom of the cap and pull back to set teeth into insulation. After finishing the pull, wire is cut two inches below the tool, the cap is unscrewed and the short piece of wire remaining is removed by pushing it through the opened end with a screwdriver.
