Circuit Alert Wire Strippers with built-in voltage sensor

Gardner Bender's Circuit Alert Wire Strippers with a built-in non-contact voltage sensor are available in two models. The new multi-tools sense voltage, cut bolts and strip Romex (NM) cable or #10-18 AWG wire. These innovative products combine the ergonomic features of Gardner Bender's ArmorEDGE Wire Stripper with the built-in safety of its Circuit Alert Non-Contact Voltage Sensor. They make electrical work safer by providing both an audible (beeping sound) and visual (flashing light) alert to indicate the presence of AC voltage, from 50 to 600V. The wire strippers also make electrical work faster. A common practice is to first test that the power is off and then to strip the wires at outlet receptacles, switches, junction boxes and lights. Until now, this work required at least two hand tools, a wire stripper and a voltage sensor. With ArmorEDGE, the new tools feature stainless steel blades for maximum corrosion and nick resistance. The blades resist nicks even if the wrong metal is cut. The handles are ergonomically designed and constructed of over-molded rubber for comfortable, sure gripping.
