459 Light Base Sheave

Greenlee's 459 Light Base Sheave makes the job of pulling wires into, and out of, parking lot light bases faster and safer for electricians, the company notes. Using a 459 on the pulling end, the pull rope goes over the sheave so a person standing on the ground can pull the rope horizontally. On the feeding end, the 459 guides the wires directly over the center of the bolt square into the conduit, usually eliminating the need for another person. The 459 attaches to light bases using the same mounting bolts that are used for the light pole.
