Designed for outdoor, damp and wet locations, ETP steel compression-style couplings and connectors have an internal sealing ring and gasket, along with a KO sealing ring, to prevent water from entering into EMT electrical conduit, an electrical box or an enclosure. The fittings install with standard electrician tools and methods with no special torque requirements. An InspectoRidge external inspection aid allows an electrical inspector to immediately determine if an installation that requires "Raintight" fittings is up to code simply by observing the ridge. The fittings are UL listed to "Raintight" standards and available in trade sizes range from 1/2-inch to 2-inches.
