Steel Cord Grips

Bridgeport Fittings' steel cord grips come with each fitting identified by a color coded grommet that clearly indicates the minimum-maximum cable diameter range for which the connector can be used. The cord grips meet the requirements of rugged service on all types of equipment in non-hazardous areas. The 105-degree C-rated neoprene sealing grommets grip the cable jacket firmly but safely, providing strain relief and protecting the internal wiring connections from tension on the cable or cord. The steel washer reduces friction between the grommet and the compression nut to provide even pressure distribution, eliminating leakage resulting from grommet distortion. A compact design allows for the tight spacing on panels and enclosures. UL Listed and CSA certified.
